Citadel 'Eavy Metal Spray Gun

I've been lucky enough to get my hands on the Citadel 'Eavy Metal Spray Gun and Wow, is our hobby about to change!

It boasts four cylinders which can accommodate any of the Citadel paint and wash ranges, and requires two cans of propellant to feed its massive appetite. Once loaded, you just Point, Pull, and Pose. The EMSG's precision engineering will intelligently apply each paint exactly where you want it. You won't be able to stop yourself from bragging about your newfound painting brilliance.

I was a bit skeptical at first, but just check out these results.

Be sure to do this outside, because the new gun makes quite a racket.  But with just a single pull of the trigger and a careful sweep across the model you can get impressive results in a single pass.

I don't know when it will go up for Advanced Order, but since I have to return my press demo unit, I can't wait!

  1. Sounds like Homer Simpson's make-up shotgun! I will definitely have to get me one of these, along with the "pop-up" terrain table I read about on Warsear last week. Turn the page for a whole new gaming board!

  5. Good to see this finally being released. I remember the "Mike McVey in a Can" that was on the drawing boards way back in the day. Kudos to GW for finally getting it right (although I would've liked to see a longer stock to match the grenade launcher-like appearance).

  10. @dave: McVey in a can would be awesome. Even easier than the spray gun.

Yes, in case you didn't notice, I tagged this post thoughtfully.
