Press hard so the paint really gets off the brush and into the crevices, and move on! Next ork please! basecoat catachan green for 20 orks in no time. Large Drybrush. One of the best products Games Workshop have ever made. Even better than some warhammer models? definately, cuz you wouldn't be painting armies without a Large DrybrushFaith and Furyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13287410559512415629noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7709017307374498723.post-33504701747048141152010-01-14T05:12:45.686-05:002010-01-14T05:12:45.686-05:00I don't understand how you can do 20 orks in 4...I don't understand how you can do 20 orks in 4 hours.

yesterday i was doing 15 ork of black reach, i spent maybe 2 hours just to put the first layer of catachan green on the 15 figures.

Was painting accurately with a standard brushSprznoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7709017307374498723.post-51414953721465932732009-06-05T20:03:27.620-04:002009-06-05T20:03:27.620-04:00I spent considerly longer painting my AoBR nob for...I spent considerly longer painting my AoBR nob for the Waaaghh/B&C painting contest thing. Of course the pants highlighting usually gets lower, thus shaving off some time etc.

But yeah, normally 3 to 4 hours for a nice squad of orks is the norm if you go through these steps. Adding a bit more time to get some details out and you can have a nice unit pretty quickly.Thomas aka Goatboyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07473515228765680402noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7709017307374498723.post-74605734754074601402008-09-01T20:19:00.000-04:002008-09-01T20:19:00.000-04:00Looks good, so what's the total time it takes to f...Looks good, so what's the total time it takes to finish this guy?

It seems like a good technique like you said for "assembly line" painting.

Those washes seem to do wonders when it comes to shadowing a model, they pull all the colors together.Space Hulk Enthusiasthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03522498406401972832noreply@blogger.com
